Joe
“Joe is a 23-year-old quarter horse suffering from Cushing’s. I am treating him with Cowboy Up Royal Oil.”
Annie, Reigning Grace Ranch, Fountain Hills, Arizona
Joe is a 25 year old sorrel quarter horse that was diagnosed with Cushings disease in 1999. On a regular feed of Bermuda hay, alfalfa and a complete senior feed, Joe’s weight and topline began to decline. In the Fall of 1999, I began supplements of ground flax seed added to his complete senior feed. This significantly improved his topline. Unfortunately, by November 2021, Joe began to reject the flax seed supplement and once again began to decline in body shape and vigor. In February 2022, the ranch was donated a bottle of Cowboy Up Royal Oil. After studying the benefits of cranberry oil, I decided to try it on Joe. To my delight, He absolutely loved the Royal oil and licked his bowl clean. In a months time, Joe’s topline showed significant improvement. Now having had Royal oil twice a day for over 3 months, Joe’s topline looks pretty darn good for a 25 year old horse suffering from Cushing disease. His vigor is back and I can tell he feels better.
